I bounce between this and the belief that everything will go dark and nothing else matters...

He means dark as in nothing after this life.

Thats the only thing that the "believers" have in advantage, something to believe in for after this mortal life. Probably they need the idea cos the alternate is too depressing for them.

I bet that quantum physics is depressing for him too. I bet that he is second grade dropout too, who used to get his ass kicked by his mom and being raped by his dad. Oh what an utterly cruel society!

And its this condescending douchebaggery that makes it so nobody can take atheists seriously.

I don't have a problem with their beliefs, why should they have a problem with mine?

People are paranoid about the holiday, I remember it being mentioned by a veterinarian when I went to put down my cat.

Oh, pls take the Jehova's pounding my door about every month also into the equation. Well, had a tip to hang a sign for "Give Blood" on my door, that ought to deter them.

And by bitching about it people who aren't Jehovah Witnesses you are no better than them.

I honestly hear more out of the people bitching and moaning about them then I do from the Jehovah Witnesses themselves. At worst they go away when I tell them I'm not interested.
