unfortunately heavys are situational in 6v6 and VERY few teams use them all the time. like 1 or 2 euro teams

Bookie what class do you plan on playing for a competitive team?
I play Heavy or Medic. And yes I can kill people on my own without a medic hellmet! Anyways. How many heavies do you see going on their own the whole game without a medic pwning guys? I have never seen one lol, and medics come to me most the time because I rack up kills when they keep me healed.

Then I would suggest teams that concentrate on 8v8 if you want to play heavy, 6v6 if you want to be the medic slave.

Where is the best place to look for teams recruiting that are playing competetively 8v8?

http://www.teamwarfare.com/
http://www.caleague.com/?division=tf28
http://www.ugcleague.com/
http://base.sta-league.org/tf2/
TWL the first league has a ton of ladders
CAL has 6v6 and 8v8
UGC is 7v7
STA is 6v6 and highlander
cant really think of other leagues right now, most of the 8v8/Highlander teams will be pub teams, problly just post on the forums for the sites in the recruitment threads.

I'm used to gaming on
http://www.gamebattles.com where they have really detailed ladders with a nice look to it, but I guess Team Fortress 2 isn't really as popular as the games they feature on there. I'll have to look into these.
