which is why we should reward engineers for their stuff being used.
I have always thought that you should get a point for every few hundred points of healing you do, which could easily apply to the engineer's dispenser. A dispenser in a battlefield will get a lot more healing then one in the intel room.
As for teleporters, there should be a point for ever 5/10 uses of that, too.
as for people building sentries in places that it can easily be destroyed? I don't think that is really an issue anyway, I sat there with a lvl3 dispenser and build sentries up as fast as I could and they were picked off instantly by snipers, I did this for about an hour and only got about 200 points, that's 10-20 kills on popular server.

I was refering to the the weird engies that seem to just throw down exits right at the corners of maps like 2fort so a sniper can pick it off. Now with the super dispensers, I was left wondering it wasn't someones buddy just tossing them out for points.
I agree very much so about the points for healing, as the current system only rewards medics who stick to one person, usually a soldier or demo.

oh, I misread your post.
What I meant in my first post is that you lose the same amount for getting your stuff destroyed as for building it (much how you lose more points for destroying it yourself)

I missed this earlier. I was refering to why aren't all demomen on the cheater list.

Ya, I think I'm going to implement the healing thing. Whats a good amount of points? 2 points for every 300? 4?

I think 400 should be fine.
For any naysayers, here is a preemptive list of plus-sides for this:
Encourages teamwork among medics instead of whoring it up with a demo or soldier.
Stat whores will find medics worth playing.
Rewards defensive medics.

I do not mind this idea but your "plus-side" is worthless
E.g it will still happen

Count them again, guy.
Plus, you are saying that having a higher concentration of medics is worthless. Do you even play TF2 anymore?
