Get some professional cans, like
Sony MDR7506s. They're still the industry standard for professional recording and broadcast applications, and they've been around almost 20 years. I have these at work and at home, but I sure as hell won't use em' for gaming. They're that good.
IMO, Sennheiser makes great mics, but lousy headphones. You paid $100 for just the "HD" in the model number.

that would be an incredible point if the entire headset weren't equal to or lesser than 100$, that and sony overcharges more than anybody and their shit is way less durable. Sony makes good consoles and console accessories, it stops there.
