The -50 points for teamkilling should be removed, the engineer can't control his lvl3 sentry's rockets.

paw Wrote:Of course I agree also, and it's a lot more fun when you'r sticking with a friend, but there is also the problem where a bunch of medics stick on 1 person (every seen 3 medics on 1 heavy? lol).

Of course I think people should be rewarded if both they and their friend are skilled and they do medic+something duo, but I think people need to be rewarded for doing the team based "bitchwork" like healing all the people who are lobbing grenades/rockets toward the 3rd cap point in dustbowl, then retreating to get healed up.

So I'm saying, reduce points for assist, and give points for people in need. This will also encourage the "uber duos" to take a break, heal people who need to be healed, THEN make their push, instead of just waiting til they get uber and ignoring everyone else.

I agree. If anyone notices the way I play, i always make sure everyone is healed to 150% of their normal health all the time and always give my uber to someone who can actually do something with it. I agree with giving more points for healing and yes actually giving a percentage for assists instead of a standard 4 points. So some kills can even be 1 or 2 points but if it's Mr. Balls or someone else that is killed by the player being healed then it should be more than the standard 4 points.

Valve forgot a line about the sentrygun rockets splash damage and it hurts teammates even with ff off

LOL i think you should complain to valve about that one

Or the hlstatsx TK penalty could be lowered to 0 since that's the only time that you can TK someone and as Hell-met stated, there is literally nothing you can do to stop it from occurring.

50 is default. I changed it to 0 on our server because it's useless with no friendly fire.

I like the suggestions, it's just too bad that the most useful modifications aren't possible at the moment.

Agreed here as well. However, I think no penalty for dropping the intel would be bad but it shouldnt be the same number as grabbing the intell. Something like +15 for a pick up and -5 for a drop would work better imo.

Also shoutout to LMA, paw, and all the other medics who save my stupid engie ass when I try to shotgun a horde of badguys

I went on a server and I saw 5 points for point captured... so I'm think points can be adjusted? Maybe not some of the more complex ones like sentry guns, though.
