It works now thanks DF, It was just after an update so I will assume that was the problem. The only message I got when I tried to join was " Server is full " I didnt know there was only 12 reserved slots on the server. I will keep this in mind for the future.

this might not be the place/it was probably mentioned elsewhere but,

is 12 the max limit you can have for reserved slots? why not all 16?
