I found him on the stats page and went to his steam community page which says he's from Alberta, Canada. That's a little ways up there, but I have a clan mate that lives in Edmonton and his ping average ping is 149 ms (Latency: 74 ms). Doritos average ping is 247 ms (Latency: 124 ms).

How far North of Edmonton are you Doritos? Unfortunately DF is right, it may be unavoidable just because of your distance from the server.


I would suggest running a tracert to the sourceop server and posting the results here.

Start > Run > cmd > tracert 74.54.24.194

Is something blocking the transfer of information?

What I don't get is that it happened all of the sudden.

I live in Edmonton.

Back in the day I didn't have that bad of a ping or lagging issue.

70 is good. Your ISP is probably blocking the trace. You could try doing a 100 pings and checking for loss.
