I've traded with a several Russians that turned out to be really cool guys. A couple of them wanted to practice their English, and I ended up having hour-long conversations about the Georgian conflict, Iran, President Obama, apartments in NYC, and America's role in the world economy. Just because you've run into a few bad apples doesn't mean every Russian is a scammer.

I only trade on sourceop servers. And most of my trading is 1 way trading, either i'm giving stuff or getting stuff. Regulars are nice enough to give you stuff for free. Its good karma.

its a stereotype but sadly a true one
I've met a couple of nice Russians but I usually run into ripoffs (one wanted 2 keys for a level swap for his lvl 98 VV.tyro)
so far no bait and switchers
