the only true downgrade so far is the backburner, and it's a unlockable

that is stupid.
edit: actually after thinking about it you mainly play pyro, in that case I completely agree with you, I go around with a set of the original weapons just because it screws enemy pyros over. (compression blast the fire off of friends, shotgun them and fireaxe them)
