Yeah, I'm calling BS on that. He doesn't play modern games, or use Firefox for more than 30 minutes. 2 gigs isn't enough for a modern PC. Cell phones have more than that now.

I don't know what your misconceptions are, but 2 gigs is fine for web browsing on windows 7. It's just terrible for anything more intensive.

Ram low ? Uh no he got it just right. As for the video card 2 GB or more of VRAM is a good thing for now and into the future.

You made some good choices.

Cell-phones don't have more than 2 gigs of ram. Says here that only 2 phones have 2 gigs of ram. http://www.phonegg.com/Top/Ram-Amount-Cell-Phones.html

LOL...
8 gigs is enough if you dont run like 12 virtual Machines aso.
IMPORTANT: Get a decent PSU and no "no name" bullshit.
Better get yourself a good BeQuiet 450/480W than a 600w sucky sucky 25 $ PSU.

Just a Tip...
Im running a i73770k + HD7870 (+ssd, +1TB HD, +z77 extreme4 +8gb LP vegance) with an be quiet! Straight Power E9 80+ 450W without any problems and a bit room for more.

I chose corsair because it was recommended to me by my friend. It costed around 80-90 dollars, so hopefully it lasts long. Also, you use 450 watts for a i7 and a 7870?? Seems really low to me with those specs.

Yeah Corsair is a good brand to choose.

Lolz..
450w is more than enough even if i put a energy hungry GTX 680/580 or HD7970 in my sys. *12V rail

You can go with Corsair, they have some good PSU's as well.

The lowest recommended power supply for the 6950 is 500 watts.

There's something to be said for getting a higher wattage PSU. While 450 might be enough, a higher wattage may have a cheaper operating cost at the wattage you require. Additionally, PSUs can degrade over time, so if you're at the bare minimum when it's new, you could conceivably have issues later on.
