I still stand by the fact that hats shouldn't be vanity items.
If they really wanted to make the game more fun they would add perks to them. (nothing outrageous, just like +5 hp, +10 movement speed, 2% fire resistance)
Sad to admit, but I am in the process of trying to model some of my favorite hats from Ragnarok Online just so I can get some special attributes

It doesn't even matter if the attributes don't make much of a difference: the fact that they make a difference at all is enough.

I didn't know mmos had a random over time drop system that gave out useless vanity items. Why hats anger you so much is beyond me glouch.
