My processor now WORKS AGAIN. I don't know how it is working, it practically MELTED. It was double-clocked and the cooling system failed, it ran for 8 hours like that while i was idling on a CSS server, and then died. It works now, I don't get it.

So I have it de-clocked down back to 3.6GHZ, regular cooling on it and it works great. I am no longer restricted to consoles!!!

During my experiment to double clock my processor, my cooling system took a shit and left me with only a PS3... two days ago I bought this WII, and i won't have a decent computer until my alienware financing goes through.

How many people have tried to use internet explorer 7? I have, and it makes me want to die.

One morning some random middle management asshole, probably after losing a bet and having to go to work after eating a sack of oranges and 2 ounces of LSD, went into balmers office and said to him "Why don't we find a way to combine the autrocious image compatibility, outdated connection support, and security that barely exists with extreme slowness and a clumsy interface that is the bastard child of WindowsME and Vista, all the whille ripping off features from Firefox and Opera, and then making them fucking blow?"

This employee was dubbed head of the Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 team. And I have some questions for him...

1. How do you make a web browser that is slow on ANY COMPUTER YOU PUT IT ON!?!?! I have run this on a quad-core AMD with dual 700+meg video cards, a seagate cheetah and 4 gigs of 6400+ ram, along with an 80$ giganic and comcast cable, and it still couldn't load google on firefox as fast as my pentium3 loaded one of Larz's "lets post screenshots of every configuration page on my server's web-interface because I can" threads...

2. What is wrong with the interface, is it supposed to be stripped down so much that it is useless?

3. Why are all of the configuration options still geared towards Dial-up?

4. Why is every notable feature dwarfed by IE6+a google toolbar?

5. why don't you just give up and put firfox in Windows Ultimate packages...?

Holy crap, I am watching the show to kill time at 2am, and some of the shit they say is just horrible. like miroku trying to sound smart:

they walk into a cave and see a giant crystaline figure surrounded by demons and a statuesque woman and he yells (yes yells) "THAT armor is over 200 years OLD, I wonder if she is some sort of ANCIENT WARRIOR" like, no shit? thanks!

another instance is where he and his party have been fighting a group of demons that have formed a perfect circle around a small hut. They had been fighting for a few hours, trying to get into the hut but being pushed back multiple times, and he feels the need to yell (again) "I GET IT NOW, THE DEMONS MUST NOT WANT US TO GET CLOSE TO THAT HOUSE!!!"

And why don't they use their huge pile of ultimately powered jewels to make shippo not make me want to capture baby foxs and light them on fire. Or put them in somebodies arms and legs, or grind them into a silk hat for frosty to wear, OR DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN PUT THEM ON YOUR NECK AND WATCH THEM GET STOLEN EVERY OTHER DAY!!!

Another thing that bothers me is the moon cycle, which appears to go along the lines of: Every day is a full moon, except there is a new moon every other week!

One last thing they need is a plot chart that lets me know all of the episodes that are fillers so I can just download the 40 episodes that progress the story and save me 60 hours (120 eps) of watching stupid bullshit.

Where can i get a place to store map files, so that my server can use fast download???

From what ive read and been told, i need to have a seperate FTP from the one i use for my servers....

Any ideas?

Ok i want to enable fast dloading on my servers


I got this bit from a mani tutorial, and need some translations lol.

"To enable Fastdownload you need to add this into your server.cfg



sv_downloadurl "YourWebspaceUrl/cssdownloads"



Then upload your files to the gameserver. Now log in to your webspace via FTP.

Create a folder named "cssdownloads" (without "") and in this folder you create the subfolders maps, materials, sound, etc.

Now you need to bzip all your files for your webspace.

If you're using Windows as your OS at Home (Server hasn't to be windows), use the BZIP Compression Batch , simply Drag & Drop some files on the batch file (not to much files on the same time, every time about 5 files max), if you're using Linux, find some Package Tool that can compress files into the Bzip Format or use the console commands.

Now, after all your files have the .bz2 Extension, upload them to your webspace, restart your server and your server should now use the webspace for downloads.

There's also a tool available called CSRSC (Counter Strike Redirect Server Checker) for automaticly comparing the files and uploading them.
