  No reserved slot kicks during Sudden Death

I think this seems reasonable because Sudden Death only lasts like 3 minutes... is it possible to make it impossible to kick someone during sudden death? Because every player counts during SD, it's really bothersome to have someone kicked over a reserve slot... people who want to join will have to either join when the server is not full or when sudden death ends.

Uh, yeah. Who thought it would be a good idea to have this? These 'rankings' give nothing but problems. It makes people stat whores, negatively influencing the way they play the game, people try to abuse the system to make themselves rank higher, and overal it's a waste of time for everyone. "Rank", "place, "session", who cares? I honestly don't understand how anyone could possibly think this would be a good thing for servers. It's unbelievably annoying to see people in the top 10 playing conservatively just so they won't lose points, or people bitching about how they lose 25 points for getting killed by someone new on the server.

The stats are pointless and quite frankly ruin the whole game. Players who want still want stats would leave the server but is that really a concern? The sourceop servers are popular enough already.

I was banned on the 24/7 instant respawn 2Fort server for using the sv_benchmark on accident.

I was looking for the command to force an autobalance (i believe there is a command for that, correct me if i'm wrong) and clicked on the sv_benchmark command by mistake,

Also, the command has been inactive for weeks now, so it would have been extremely stupid if I had tried to crash the server by using it.

That is the only server like that that I get good ping on, so I would like to be unbanned please.

The name on the server is levelup <TWM>

I was kicked and banned from the server for I don't know what . I was kicking ass with a heavy then people started to call me a cheat . I then changed to sniper and sniped for about 5 minutes then was kicked and banned. I'm not sure who banned me but its not fair.

I don't play as much as I used to (I think...), but here's the problem. Sometimes I play TF2 and I die a lot and stuff and it's really depressing... that I get owned so much. I mean, I understand a lot of people are better than me (on the Valve map server), but this is just ridiculous.

Yesterday I ranked 31 and sometimes I wonder how the FUCK I managed to get so high in the first place. I think the class I'm best at is medic and I guess I don't feel so bad when I play medic, but I've been trying to get my least played classes up to par with my most played classes, so I've been playing those a lot (I stil suck at demoman)... that's when I usually get so pissed off and so demoralized, I guess.

There was a time I thought this server was too much for me, not because people were better than me (I like a challenge), but because my ping is always 140-170ms, which at a certain point I thought was too high and I decided to quit playing on the server. So I set off to find a new server that was closer to home (Netherlands), and I did find a 32 player server with a very low ping (something like 20ms). Having a low ping was really so much better, but in the end it wasn't fun at all. The people on that server were total noobs and I think I may have been the best player on that server (not sure though). Sourceop's Valve maps server is really awesome, and so are the other servers (24/7 2fort). I also deleted a lot of people that were on my friends list that were SourceOP regulars and I still haven't gotten around to re-add them all.

A lot of people do not like me and are under the impression that me and my friend both cheat. Yesterday I guess someone banned my friend's steam account and I don't think it was justified at all. I want to know if any admin can talk with me and discuss this issue. This is the only server we play on, we get a good ping and it runs 24/7 insta-respawn 2Fort4.

I'm sure some of the other snipers out there could easily tell you that I don't cheat. I am pretty good I guess, but I don't cheat. I don't headshot every sniper as soon as they come out, I often lose 50/50 in most fire fights, the only reason I get a lot of points is because I'm always out there and not hiding behind walls. I can post screenshots and maybe a video if it eases your mind.

I just want my friend's steam account unbanned, I don't think it's fair just because someone is a little better than someone else they are labled a cheater and then eventually banned. So if any admins would be kind enough to discuss this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

I haven't played Portal since my second time through, but do find myself playing the flash version. Apparently they released a mappack for Portal of the Flash version levels (available here: http://portalmaps.wecreatestuff.com/). Anyone played 'em yet? I found the link at work at haven't had a chance to fire up steam as yet to play for myself, and was wondering if it was worth the download.

omg so like two days ago I was sniping on dustbowl and had broken my sniper headshot and kills record and was still going, but then Drunken F00l spawned a waterfall of barrels in front of my face and an enemy sniper popped up and headshotted me! I was only 2 headshots away from at least tying my all time cross-class point record, who knows how far I could have gone? Oh yeah and this was all in the first two minutes of the first area of dustbowl before the first point was even capped, so I still would have had a bunch of time to continue.

So that's why DF is a doodoo head.

Oh yeah plus he still hasn't removed ctf_well and his girlfriend is a lesbo dyke who only dates him to keep up appearances!!!

Hey guys, I was on the server and you seemed like a bunch of helpful people so figured I'd try your forums for an answer to a question that's been bugging me for several weeks: how to set round timers. I have mp_stalemate_enable 1 set and the closest thing I can see to round timers is mp_time_between_capscoring.

Currently using beetles mod but would love to switch to source OP for all my servers if it fixed a few of the more niggling problems I have (hlstats deactivation, file management). Thanks for any help!
