  Abusive kick/temp ban

Hi
I've been kicked by an admin known as 'nothing' (TripelNipplePipaloptemy) on the server goldrush only and without any valid reason for doing some taunts (since when the taunts are prohibited?lmao)
I often come on this server and I've never had problems before he arrived and then 3 abusive votekicks (never insulted or other) I have been polite and I asked why and he temporarily ban me for... 10 seconds spectate ? not afk pretext because I was playing ! I just want everyone to know that even if this is a temporary ban admins are not free of abusing their power! and yes I have made this post just to make you understand that is not because t 'has controls that you can do what you want or players make posts about your comportment, be cool and don't rage and you' ll be a good admin Tongue

Now that we can use custom hitbeeps there are a lot of ways to get the sound you want. There's a slight problem with precaching, but I'm including my fix for that. Here's a link with hitbeeps from other games and some random stuff as well. Thank Ricco for the collection.

Extract/Drop these into your tf/sound folder

TF2 doesn't use multiple sound files to let you gauge damage dealt. It takes whatever sound you choose and uses 100dmg as the normalization reference. So as damage scales downward from 100 the pitch of the wave grows higher, just as the pitch goes lower when damage is above 100.

I currently have the following in my Autoexec.cfg

The alias just sets your volume to 0 the instant the game starts, plays the hitbeep to load it into game cache, and then returns the game back to normal volume. All of that so you don't have to hear the hitbeep you've chosen every time you load the game. Without this, the game sometimes reports that the sound file can not be located, so I'd recommend it.

Just edit both sections to the hitsound you prefer, change any of the sound settings to what you think sounds best, and add the contents to your autoexec.cfg

That's it, now you get damage feedback all the time, even if you can't see what you hit or don't like combat text (demo/soldier spam).

I'm appealing my ban and this is my last call since begging doesn't seem to work Sad . I dont have a shitty attitude I love playing on this damn server and I'm banned for a shitty attitude it came along with chrons ban too. Hella sad too I lo key begged for an unban nicely too I stated I love playing on this server and have over 20+ days on this server and have never had any complaints for a shitty attitude . I do what it takes for my team to win playing medic, engie etc many people have here witnessed my "building in enemy intel skills" , my personal "medic skills" , and of course my demo and soldier skills.

I honestly think I dont have a shitty attitude . If by shitty is typing in LOL after a good kill is bad or spamming when we win by saying "try hard red or blue" I seriously dont think its that bad. Kinda funny though since people invite me to play when I'm not playing... getting chat requests from other people asking me to play or help cause they're getting killed . I dont really think I'm a nuisance to this serve rand hope the ban can be reversed. I'm doing this as my last plea and I do think that the two people that have a huge part of this is Uncleharris and Zaphod which clearly dont likely and do not play on my team at all. I made complaints on zaphod when he annoyingly type "sit down old insertnamehere" everytime he kills someone or when he goes in game through rcon and openly chats with players while we're playing since then he has not liked me. Infact he made a comment on one of my friends pages saying this

then he lied and said I was being disrespectful to him. I told him "can you please stop chatting while ingame and just stick to the game" he then banned me which was later lifted by DF . I'm just saying I love this server, love the people on it and the COMPETITION is the best and hope it could be lifted. This is my last call if not I'm just probably gonna call tf2 quits for now. I worked hard and now its probably going to be gone.

Honestly guys just cut me a break I'll stfu , keep my comments to myself and just play the damn game. I've been playing since 03 on CS and never had any bans dealing with my attitude so hopefully this thread helps me out and a ban is reversed. Thank you all
