I got a model M, they are nice if you can find a PS/1 to PS/2 to USB adapter

Do you mean DIN5 to PS/2?

yeah ,I had an adapter at one point that referred to it as a PS/1 way back when and have been referring to it as that ever since.

probably made by ignorant Chinese people and filled with lead.

It could've been called PS/1 at some point, I don't know. I've just never heard that before.

the Din5 connectors were used with IBM keyboards bundled with the PS/1, before the change in form factor from AT to ATX.

Enjoy the clickity goodness Zeit. I get a kick that my Model Ms are the oldest *working* computer parts that I have. And I think PS/2 ports will be around for a good long while.

mine is is pretty good shape (it has been used in an office environment so it has discoloration, but that is the extent of that.)

I don't ever use it, but I don't plan on getting rid of it. (ps. I can't stand flat keyboards)
