Never tell your password to anyone.
Verify that the items you're trading for aren't renamed items masquerading as rare items. Inspect each item carefully. Renamed items will have quotation marks around their names.

I've known dol4n for a while, i give him free price checks all the time and i usually expect people to pass on the favor.

People who charge for pricechecks are

not even telling them before hand.

You have no idea how mad that guy makes me. I've spent countless hours offering pricechecks, and never ask or expect anything in turn -- asking for anything is ridiculous. If you don't want to help, just shut up and don't help. Stuff like what that guy did not only abuses a real player but damages the work and reputation of the people who do generously help others.

Giving your friend a price check is one thing, but a guy randomly trading or adding you and demanding price checks is rude. I am sorry if some people have no issue spending their entire day price checking random ungrateful strangers, but unless someone is polite I will not give them a free price check either.

I guess some people just literally think that being polite is not free today. If you're too busy; say you're too busy. However expecting to be paid to give a noob advice (regardless of how useful it may be in the long run) is terrible, period.

Edit: obviously you do care what atom has to say if you literally jumped on this thread the second I left. rofl!

No one is forcing you to PC bro, you seem to think your services are manditory. Being an admitted asshole and self centered is great an all, however just because you have sales, doesn't make you respectful and a pleasure to work with. I can't even count the repeat customers I have due to the level of respect I show others. For my design services and for my sales. If you feel there is no connection between being polite (EVEN IF YOU DON'T MAKE PROFIT) and making sales; I strongly suggest you look up anything on google in regards to small business ethics and customer service. =)

My whole point was that I ask for a reclaim to anyone who asks for a price check by adding or trading me. You said I should do it for free. I never ask for anything AFTER I do it for free, that is scummy, but continue to twist words. And the irony of it all is, I never take the reclaim which spreads goodwill. Or they close trade when I ask, which serves to shoo away the lazy/greedy.
