Is there any reason why two people cannot connect from the same IP?
My husband and I play the 2fort 24/7 NO BS server. Sometimes we both can connnect but like today, we both cannot.

Interesting. It should work just fine. Try it again some time and see if you still have issues.

It's intermittent. One of us will be in game, while the other the server starts to time out. I'll let you know next time it happens.

Strangely, I had the same exact problem with same IPs on counter-strike servers way long ago.
On some servers we were able to connect but on others we were just not allowed to connect at the same time.
If somebody can finally give an answer to this, It'll be great.

I have had this problem with duplex occasionaly as well..... It was very odd.

The player Insein lives at my house aswell and he shares the same ip as me, but we never had a problem with connecting.
