I went to join a sourceop server this morning about 9:30 est and was banned the instant I joined the server. It says i was banned for spam, but as I just said I had just joined the server, so how could I have been spamming?
I would like, at the least, an explanation why I was banned, so that I can avoid repeating the mistake later.
Thank you.
P.S. Not being banned would be great, but if I truely did something wrong, I will accept the ban.

I apologize from the bottom of my heart. You were banned completely by accident by myself. You joined and the server list hadn't updated, I clicked your name by accident.
I sent your STEAM ID to Drunken F00l requesting he unban you (Unfortunately, I am unable to do so for you). Again, I sincerely apologize for the mistake.
A added you to Steam friends so I can let you know when it's lifted for ya!

You're very welcome. I'm sorry it happened. Was early in the morning and those other guys were spamming so much, I was a bit distracted, I think. But we'll take care of ya and get ya back.

I've only done it twice in my entire history here. Those are not bad odds.
Keep picking on me and I'll "accidentally" ban you, too.
