I'm honestly on your side in this one. I've always cleaned my shit with windex/clorox/whatever potent solvent was laying around/ and every monitor I've ever purchased still runs.

It's plastic people, unless you are trying to use liquid plumbr on your computer screen or try scrubbing it with a brillo pad you aren't going to do shit.
