Not true imo, I gave a mate a loan of one of my beams hats before, and went sniper on the other team, honestly its really easy to pick out a beams hat (depending on the hat ofc) when sniping.

I seriously have never had any issues with being headshotted more when I'm wearing my burning panama. Any serious sniper should know if you're there or not without an unusual hat.

Its not in the sense of "getting shot more" that I mean. What I meant is mostly in relation to spawning, and hardscoping snipers watching corners for the main group of opposing players to come around it. The first person to get shot was always me
