Not so much protesting the ban, but the length.
I was being pretty awfully annoying to Womb Raider, especially on degroot, so getting a ban handed to me isn't unfair at all. I accept that. I was always giving Womb Raider shit because a while back he came on the server and was acting really unbearably immature, calling people faggots and harassing Indica and Storm and myself, under the name Autism 3:16. That colored my attitude against him from the outset. Plus, he later banned me for 30 mins for rock-jumping on degroot. Whatever, that's a server rule, and I was completely unaware of the rule at the time of my ban. (I think I joined the match mid-round so I didn't see the warning in chat.) Him banning me wasn't what caused me to give him so much shit, I don't think I even knew that was him until later, but rather his annoying-ness from earlier was what bugged me. So I always groaned and whined when I saw Womb Raider playing, to the point where it was hard for him to ignore me.
Anyway, looking through the threads here I'm a little surprised and embarrassed to see that Womb Raider seems like a perfectly rational person and an active admin. I couldn't add him on Steam so I'd like to apologize to him here. I just wanted to let him know why I was acting like such a douchebag, and admit that I was wrong.
My time spent on the SourceOP server has been some of the most fun I've had with online gaming. I'd like the opportunity to play with you guys again sometime (this time with 100% less douchebag on my part), but I understand if the permaban stays.

First off, I've absolutely never said anything that could even have been slightly considered "mean" to Storm.
Anything I've ever said to Indica was due to her either picking on some kid in the server for no reason or for never shutting the fuck up about whatever illegal drug she happened to choose to take that night.
For the rock jump: You didn't join halfway through. You were there for the first two rounds, which was the grace period I gave everyone to adjust. Right before that you were arguing with it being a stupid rule. You were aware of it. I even have a bind that spams the rule.
What's truly hilarious here is that you're the first person I've ever actually banned over their attitude. I take constant shit from a lot of different people on that server, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Eventually they give up. You never did. I warned you twice to stop. Instead, you kept up with the "when are you going to get deadminned" type of shit. You never even came close to hurting my feelings. You were just REALLY fucking annoying.
If you promise to never talk to me in the game again I'll try to get it shortened to a week.
The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State.

I distinctly recall only being on the server for a few moments (I joined, spawned, immediately rockjumped) before being banned. Unless I was banned a second time that has completely slipped my mind?
Anyway, that's not the core of why I was being annoying. Looking at the sticky in this forum and seeing that it's clearly 100% a server rule has shut me right the fuck up. Don't worry.
And I promise to never so much as utter a squeak at you ever again. Honestly, I'm embarrassed.

Keep in mind that there are only a couple people that can even adjust ban lengths right now. One of them is exceptionally busy, and the other hasn't been online in 7 days.
