As I was playing earlier (less than 30 minutes ago) on your 24/7 2fort server, two heavies with the tag [BH] come into the game and proceed to lock down our main spawn by sitting on our doors. As I was cloaked, half way across the map, a guy named Eggbanjo joined, apparently an admin. I was glad that the game was going to get back to normal... until about 20 seconds later when I got a notification that I was permabanned for griefing/door blocking. Note that I was about a quarter of the way across the map, and was a completely different class.

I figured I'd wait a few minutes for him to unban me, since I figured he would have noticed that he accidentally banned somebody and promptly undo it, but no such thing happened. He may have mistaken me for one of them because I sat in the doorway for a few seconds after the game began, preventing them from griefing us. If that's the case, there may have been another player that was mistakenly banned, since I saw another spy doing the same thing.

So here I am, requesting an unban. My IGN is "=L2F= Starlight". Thanks in advance.

This was totally a mistake on my part. DF, please do unban him. There was a lot of confusion at the time and I put in the wrong name. Sorry for the inconvenience Starlight.

Further to the explanation of the mistake, I was pinged by someone to jump on the server and clear up the griefing. When I did, I was mousovering the names of the players griefing. I believe what happened was that i picked up your name while I was trying to get the heavies name and went with it. There were 2 people griefing but the game ended and one of them did get away. By the time i actually typed in the commands, you were probably long gone across the map. Again, sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the apology, and I completely understand. No biggie. I'll just be glad to be allowed on the server again - it's the only one I ever use. :]
