b) if you want to play scout a lot, you pretty much have to play 6v6, or be okay with dying a lot to spam if you're not very smart..

You act like the scout should be patiently waiting to go in with an uber like a spy. That's his intended role most of the time but in 6v6 or even 9v9 I can at least look to get a pick on someone instead of getting punished for trying to do anything other than watching the flank.
