I dont know wtf they were doing when they even told us it was going to exist (along with day of defeat source, which has been on hold for freaking ever) and im a little pissed that they havent even said anything about it since, well, 2002 now.

tf2 is going to be Tfc.. just with more classes.

tfc was a very unique mod, and nothing can truly replace it i'm sure.

as for hl2dm not being as fun as tfc, i disagree. its just that in a fast paced game like hl2dm, there aren't as much luxuries you can do such as chat away safely in a spawn room without getting fragged.

also there were all those crazy mods for tfc such as neotf and our very fav. ADMINOP!

driveable apcs
bots (that use commanders view)
more classes
ect.

Teamfortress: Source is the same as TeamFortress now, just with updated player models, textures, and new world effects. TF2 will be a completly different game, like with the features frostbite listed above and probably more.
