When I try to join the sourceOP.com TF2 server above, the server browser reports 25 players. When I connect there are none.

I refreshed the list 20 times before connecting. I've seen it happen more than once. I appreciate the server being up and everything, but this is really annoying. I'm using the server browser within the game.

That's funny, I have joined and played in the server a ton lately and have never seen less than 25 people in there. There seemed to be a few bugs recently, where the server would reset and then there was nobody for about a minute... this was several days ago... :roll:

i agree. most of the time when i attempt to join the servers their full, and when their not my pc has anuerisms(craptastic framerates) to do the chaos created by the other 31/24 players!!!

There are no bots on my servers.

It's 26/26 right now. I verified. I guess I will investigate the issue further later. It's possible the map changed or server crashed between you looking and joining. It could also be some odd bug. I have final exams this week, but I will have time to look into it afterwards.

I just tried again with same result. Here is what the status command reports after I connect:

This was at 4:23am on Friday, December 7th.

The server list showed 25/26 players. Other servers I connected to showed an accurate number of players in the list.

Its been like that ever since i started playing these servers. If there are less than 25 people in the server it always says 25. I didnt say anything about it cus i thought you would have already known :oops:

The day of the issue, if I remember was Monday, there had to be some issue, the water was missing and graphical lines were there instead. I was disconnected or the server crashed within 5 to 15 minutes almost every time I went in, 74.54.24.200 the sourceop with instant respawn. A couple of the players were complaining about the same so it was not just my connection.

Other than that, I have never had a problem with any of the sourceop servers, and thanks for some cool servers.

Question - Do they even have bots for TF2, I had not noticed any. just wondering.

i had a similiar experience with the messed up graphics, but i was able to play on and figured it was just my pc so i didn't worry about it

I wish they did have bots for tf2, that way i could practice more freely with the classes without the urge to WIN!! overwhelming me, causing me to go to Medic or Soldier the whole game.
