Always, always... TF2 must update. And that update causes my game to crash. Every update. Here I am in a TF2 lobby.. Game crashes. Kid is giving me a hat for free, Game crashes. And my computer is fine, it's the crappy game.
Anyone else have the same problem sometimes and they just want to strangle someone?

I overclocked a prescott Pentium 4 to 6 gigahertz and it was more stable than TF2.
I mean did they ever fix the thing flipping its fucking shit if you tried to do something as little as looking at your screen while it was SENDING CLIENT INFORMATION?
Then again Prescotts were unholy beasts that couldn't be destroyed by mortal hands. When that thing got out of control I had to fly to new zealand and dump it into a volcano.

I think my crashes may have stopped after I disabled Multicore Rendering under the Advanced options.
Or when I took a sledgehammer to it - can't remember which...

I have never crashed while loading or anything else. I mean I've crashed from PC mishap but not from updates. Though they happen alot I don't really mind them.
