I think on the forums here there should be a bar right under the posters name saying if hes online or offline.
Could be a little useful thing to tell if you'd get a quick reply.

The forums need a feature wherein they're not phpnuke. I'm working on it, but for now I'm not keen on wading into that mess to add new features
