A user on our forums who perfers to remain nameless, has shared with us a new exploit for Team Fortress 2, that crashes the game server. While in game, open the console and type in "_resetgamestats" and hit enter. About 20 seconds later, you along with everyone else should get disconnected from the server.

Enjoy while it lasts, probably get patched on Monday or sometime next week, since Gabe is a huge fan of our news. You may also run across servers who mod patched it already as is often the case with console command crashes once they go public.

So the weenies have been doing overdrive and just getting auto-bans. Losers just can't get a break.

The resetgamestats thing is old news. I'm not sure if you looked at the ban list lately, but there are lots of bans from people who tried to use it.

Ya. I used to wonder why there are so many servers with *zero* oversight but eventually I stopped wondering and simply started calling sourceop home. It's been a better standard of play all around.

Never been to Quakecon; in fact ROGCON was my first LAN convention. And I didn't do a lot of TF2; COD4, Quake 3, and CS:S were the big games.

Is it the same at Quakecon? I knew COD4 was popular, but I didn't expect it to be insanely popular...
