They have gone through some unnatural hoops to make the scout really fucking annoying this round.

STUN WEAPON
EVASION
BLOW PEOPLE ALL OVER THE PLACE

I think that the only thing more annoying would be if demoman got sticky bombs that shot glue which stuck people to shit.

It really depends how the FAN is going to be done. In straight up killing power, I doubt it'll match the scattergun. There are absolutely no classes I'm fighting as scout that I want to push far away from me other than pyros. Regardless, it sounds like it'll be fun as hell and incredibly annoying during spam wars on big servers (like sourceop :lol: ) or push maps.

I'm actually pretty impressed that valve managed to make scout more useful on db/push maps and make the unlocks pretty badass overall in the process.

to hard to say at this point, we'll have to wait and see. If you'll notice everything that valve says makes stuff sound overpowered and ridiculous. but i am inclined to agree with you. I don't think any of the weapons look worth switching too, the maps they made valve maps were for the most part pretty crummy. Junction is ok at best and Egypt is striking and fun but its even harder to push on than dustbowl...although a good bit more rewarding when you break into the tomb. Watchtower will be great for having full arena servers...as we all know what a complete pain in the ass it is to play ravine in 12v12.

But its easy to get lost in it all as NONE of us have played with any of the new weapons yet and were going solely off of valve's flowery words.

as far as i know there are 3 ways in as it is

1. get to the perch that engineers dispenser jump to and jump around and in through the hole

2. if the cart is in a good spot you can double jump off of it and straight in

3. from the large exit in the back of the attic the jump can be made but is very difficult

so there will now be 4 ways in. Still miss the old ledge though as it was more fun to attack from and defend.
