SOP rep thread suggestion.
#1

Make it possible to search for rep threads (according to steamid64), that way, noone would have to link you their rep thread, diminishing the possibility of fake rep threads.

Also, a general improvement/accuracy in the search function would be awesome.

Searching for ID64 Rep threads would be a bit more difficult. And what do you mean with:

What improvements?

i just find it hard to search for anything, whether it be when searching for a specific hat/effect/poster/etc...

I understand why its hard, but it would be immensely useful.

And, somehow making it so you can search for id64's would be well worth the effort since it could greatly reduce scams.
--Maybe have people add their id64 into a specific section of their rep thread/the title, and then setting up the search function to search that particular area/title. Or mayb, have the search function search for the id64 linked when you linked your steam profile to sop account. (I dont really know, im more of an idea man than a "put into practice-man".

id64 is required anyways in rep threads, searching an id64 works fine as well, not sure exactly what your asking.

I would say one improvement would be to make the search actually work. When using the advance search I have been getting back the message that no threads were found sometimes with searches when there are threads out there that meet the criteria. For example I search for the word Backpack in the title and get nothing. Or I search for Auction and get results but do not even see the Mass Item Auction #x thread which is at the top of the item buying/selling section when I did the search.

Also being able to search withing a specific section of the forum like we used to be able to would be nice.

And that helps get section specific, though I don't understand why I don't get there by clicking advanced options. Can I even get there through the normal search or do I have to use this link?

It also seems that the search here works correctly too, showing all the results I should be seeing.

You can get there by going to "Advanced Search" -> "Search Single Content Type" rather than Search Multiple Content Types.
