I'll give an example to explain it to you. And I did not want to be rude. I was too frustrated at how I was being portrayed as the bad guy. Consider this. Zippo is banned now. So does that mean all those who traded with him earlier are at fault?

Zippo has nothing to do with this. I was merely pointing out a lot of suspicious trades with people who were later marked, maybe as if they were giving you good deals to sell scammed good quicker.

I know its easy to assume that scammers gave me good deals and I upgraded upto a beams TC. But no that's not the case. I have spent close to a 1000$ on tf2 until now buying buds/keys etc and the trading for unusuals. I was offered a few of quarian's little buddies on Outpost but I declined all because I knew about the hijack.

Oatmeal was under a caution for VALVe for the same thing. I have seen his steam suppourt ticket to back this up. So if we tool VALVe cautions the same way we did UTC cautions, SR cautions etc I would have kept The Oatmeal marked.

But we don't, because VALVe are a trainwreck in that department. You know morons who scam 1K in items get a 1 week trade ban, and they can keep what the steal, yet if you use a little script that lets you run a little faster in a game you get all if your BP wiped, and you get permed from every VAC server, with no hope of appeal. But that's besides the point, I'm not unfair, and I'm not unreasonable. If that caution was from UTC, because he bought some hats from a scammer for example he would go straight to a scammer tag, as a result of his (numerous) offences.

Also don't try to spread bullshit like 'Donators are above the rules' because it is lies, and it makes you look stupid.

Gotta agree with zzuubb. I used to own a moon cowl, got offered a real good deal from a guy, didnt take it because I saw he had a sop scammer tag and a utc caution. Sold the hat for a shitty deal, hat gets sold straight to the scammer, scammer then sells hat to usfamike, a utc admin, no concequence for him. (can't pull up item history now posting on phone). I have nothing against mike, just using him as an example, I'm sure there are 50 other trades where a community admin has traded with a scammer this is the only one I can think of right now since I followed the hat after I sold it.

Also how many fucking people traded with cuddle when he wasnt banned on outpost and didnt get any repercussions, and now cuddle is banned zzuubb gets banned from outpost for trading with him? Sounds fucking stupid to me, especially since he had his scammer tags the whole time, i dont see whats changed other than him being banned on outpost, if the admins on outpost are gonna go banning people for trading with scammers, set a fucking rule for everyone, don't just ban people every now again for a one off trade with a scammer set a rule and follow it, not just when it suits,

Just F.Y.I Cuddletime has been warned repeatedly, over and over for the last few months. He had his tag when I had my Beams TC - which he offered on and that was mid January. I understand what you are getting at hodos, but at the same time you have to realise that Cuddletime has a loooooooooong history and people should have been aware of this by looking at his SR info instead of just looking and thinking - ok yeah scammer - reading the tag thread is important.
Multiple trading with marked scammers/sharks/caution tagged people is going to end up in tears. People need to be aware of this, I highly doubt people are getting banned for isolated incidents - but if that is the case then yeah I understand the frustration.

I 100% agree that he should have know, but so should the other 50+ people who traded with him before he got his ban on outpost, yet there was no consequence for when they did it, why is it suddenly a perma ban and a caution for a one time trade when it wasn't 1 week ago when he wasn't banned on outpost?

Nope Valve did not ban me for trading with scammers. After my appeal ticket with them which came quite late coz I was paranoid of idk further consequences, my probation has been lifted.
