Same thing happened to Slooow, got a ridiculous deal from the known scammer Cuddletime.

Just develop a habit to check steamREP before every trade. Takes 5 seconds to do, and it will save your ass more times then a Soldier saying "MEDIC!" on 2Fort.

Seeing as cuddletime was also marked for trading with scammers, it seems that this particular steamrep rule is doing far more hurt than good than it ever has, each case needs to be treated with its own investigation rather than just randomly marking people.

To your first point, I have enough evidence to show that donators enjoy preferential treatment as you can see from the dual policy from above. Did Sloow get banned? Did Qoo get banned? Then why the fuck did I get banned and promptly marked?

I did not say the whole community is flawed but most of it is. Hell with my limited experience in trading I havent seen more hypocrisy than this.

Yeah after this incident I dont even accept friend request before I check SteamRep. And the ones I have been getting in the past few days have all come from scammers trying to sell me Stormy KE, Vintage buds etc etc

I think I've said this to you before Oatmeal, it's your fault for not checking SteamRep for such a high-priced item before buying it. You have nobody to blame, but yourself.

Now please don't accuse admins of bribery. I'm sure they can easily explain why they were unmarked.

Take a look at my trade - advanced placement Jake bout the 2nd or 3rd trade down. He approached me, I said thanks, checked his Rep got back to him and told him nicely no.
Same thing happened when I was selling My Beams TC (and no its not the Beams TC involved in your trade mine was a lvl 44 and unboxed by me and I would never fucking sell it to a scammer/shark/etc)

Lesson being this.... Don't trade with idiots especially when it comes to big money trades....this is the one place you SHOULD be doing your homework.....
EVEN IF cuddletime had offered me 24 buds I wouldn't have gone through with the trade.
Nothing against you man just think you fucked up by trading with someone who has been repeatedly marked/warned/tagged
