Is it possible to take HLX off of that server? While I can see its merit on the other maps, 2fort already has an issue of it being way too encouraging of just turtling up. HLX encourages that type of play to the point where, if too many people are worried about their HLX stats, the entire map is just a stagnation of snipers and spamming from the grate / battlements.

The issue isn't my care for HLX. I would *love* if my score was reset. It would be such a great feeling of schadenfreude to be able play as if I'm a new player.

The issue is how other people play. I currently already have a key bound to turn off* hlx_display, but that doesn't change the fact that other people, be they friend or foe, run from every opportunity to advance the team to capture the flag if it means risk of their HLX score going down.

A few days ago the intelligence to win the game was on the bridge. ANY type of push involving using the dead ringer or bonk to keep it alive while an uber was built up would have grabbed it and won. The opposing team had the coordination to pull that off as well. Despite that, no one bothered to do so because they were coddling their HLX scores.

Regardless of how little I care about HLX, it doesn't mean HLX stats do not adversely affect the game.

Sadly there are too many stat whores who would get outraged because all that time they spent sitting on sentries or camping doorways with their fingers up their ass would go to waste. The compromise could be to make stats hidden by default, like on the arena server. Even so, people would continue to type rank, session, kpd, place, next, etc.

I'm not asking to delete what they've received, just for it to be taken off the server for future stat accumulation. It would be a waste for them to *keep on* playing it, not the hours they've already spent, and (hopefully) they'll go to some other server.

As another anecdote, a few months ago, HLX had an issue where it wasn't collecting data. I don't know if it was specific to the instaspawn 2fort server, or HLX in general, but once that was revealed, literally half of my team logged off and I don't know how many of the other team logged off. THAT'S how prevalent the style of play is.
