Just thought i'd make an intresting topic for others here who play on the server.

Who here is a regular or semi-regular to the server? Or do you play on SourceOP's server's barely ever? And last but not least which class do you play most?

I pretty much only play on SourceOP's servers now as I've noticed I can't get a better experience for playing my fav PC game (TF2) then playing on this server

The community is kickass and I always find myself having good converstations as well as teamwork with fellow regulars.

I play the medic 9 times outta 10 but I do play Spy quite bit sometimes (especially on the new CTF Well). Demoman would have to be my 3rd best class.

I like Spy, but recently I have been sucking at it (though still OK relatively I suppose). I exclusively play here and enjoy playing with all the regulars. I enjoy being able to have friendly conversations with people while also playing. My least favorite classes include Pyro, Heavy, and Soldier though I will still play them from time to time.

I used to stick to a Vancouver server during the beta, the server had friendlyfire. My very first round consisted of being endlessly raped by a "friendly" heavy in our spawn.

Of course we couldn't just randomly beat the shit out of teammates to spy-check. I carefully examined every single clue on how to spot disguises.

This means I have some great spy awareness, I'm pretty sure I must be tough to backstab, from what I can tell in past spy-extermination experiences. /showoff

Since the official release (about a week or two after the beta, iirc), I joined the first and exclusive 32 player-server, sourceop nomods nomaps. Never went away even after realizing this ammount of players was usually fatal to my frame-rate. Got used to it. Ouch.

I honestly love playing every single class. I will choose my class depending on the team. I usually pick the class no one has chosen yet.

I could post many scoreboard screenshots if necessary.

SourceOP is pretty much the only servers I play on, since I started TF2 around the beginning of January. I know I suck, but I do my best to help the team out and don't think I'm really that bad of a guy to kill stuff with.

Sourceop [Valve maps] was one of the first servers I joined after I got the orange box. (the "Valve Maps" is what initially attracted me) I literally learned how to play TF2 on that server. lol. The atmosphere, teamwork, and regulars are what kept me coming back for more... Although the list of regulars has evolved a lot over the last 8 or 9 months, I still enjoy playing with you all and the level of teamwork on the server is still unrivaled for any public server in my opinion.


I don't really have a single favorite class, but most of the time I play Soldier, Engineer, Demoman, and Medic. I try to play whatever it seems like the team needs though. You'll rarely see me play as a Heavy however... Tis easily my least favorite class.

SourceOp servers have pretty much been my home since I started playing TF2. I hopped on the bandwagon way late but when I started playing the game the 2fort no mods no bs is where I started. Eventually I made my way over to the full rotation and have been in love with it ever since. Now I pretty much only play here unless I'm waiting for a spot or joining a game a buddy is in.

Classwise, I love being an engie. We always get yelled at and almost never get praised but by being a good engie I really feel like I'm contributing to the whole team instead of just hurr durr blow stuff up. Of course, I love being a soldier too when I feel like hurr durr blowing stuff up.

My 3rd favorite would probably have to be pyro. Unfortunately there's 9 billion of them so I kinda slacked off of playing pyro. I enjoy playing an ambushy game and the backburner has only made it sweeter
