Radio : Things don't play
#1

Heres the problem...I have everything set correctly, the radio spawns, the music is all MP3 format, but when I actually try to play the music from a radio in game it gives me the error message "Invalid sample rate (48000) for sound 'sourceop\radio\Track01.mp3" This is a full song, so I am thinking it is too big, but I'd like to check here first. What exactly is the sample rate?

Sample rate is the frequency in Hz.

I'm not sure what the sample rate is supposed to be at for it to work though, maybe Drunken can answer that question. But you can adjust the sample rate with dB powerAMP music converter.

We found the solution if anyone else has this problem......

The radio can not support to high of KHz.... being that are song we where using was to good of quality at 48KHz

The way we fixed it was to set the rip quality on Windows Mediaplayer lower when in the process of ripping and it changed it to 44KHz, Which then it could play!
