Question about my infractions
#1

Hello, I would like to know why I received my second infraction.

I understand my first infraction was because I mentioned that I would, in addition to paypal, also be willing to sell my items for things outside of Steam.

I removed the offending line and re-made the thread because the original was deleted, but now I receive another infraction for "spamming"?

I don't understand why this is considered spamming. The original thread was removed, and I fixed the original post that caused the first infraction, but somehow this is still against the rules? Please advise me as to what I am supposed to do.

Here we go again,
You received your second infraction by the fact you created a second thread, before the 4 hours cooldown.
Like its said in the Trade Section Rules:

Trade Section Rules Wrote:- Locked threads will not be unlocked. If your thread gets locked, don't create a new thread until 4 hours have passed.

Don't do this to me ;_;

Okay, thank you for the clarification =)

I had only read the General Rules ( http://forums.sourceop.com/misc.php?do=vsarules ) before and didn't realize that there were additional Trade Rules.

Edit: I would like to add, however, that the rule you invoked applies to locked threads, whereas my original thread was outright deleted rather than locked.

You specifically have to agree to the trade section rules BEFORE being able to post in the trade section, your account does show you specifically agreed to the TRADE section rules, along with the general rules, if you did not actually read them, then that's on you.

About the deleted thread,
You failed to comply with our site rules so your posting was locked and removed as we do not want to have references on our site to disallowed items. However, you are still forbidden from creating a new thread for 4 hours. As our FAQ also mentions, infractions are not appeal-able and the mod did not do anything out of line/against policy so the matter is closed.

Thanks.
