For some reason, when I try to join some prop hunt games I get the message "Could not CRC map _______, disconnecting." This only happens on the prop hunt server, and both me and my friend get this message. We are both on Macs by the way, and we have both deleted the map and redownloaded it, restarted our computers, and verified the integrity of our game cache. This only happens sometimes, and sometimes deleting and re-downloading works, but not all the time. Is there any sure fix to this?

EDIT: My friend is having trouble joining the SourceOP prop hunt, he can others just fine

That has workarounds if they don't work I wouldn't expect anyone else knowing how to fix your problem. Who knows though maybe you'll get lucky.(hopefully you already saw that thread and tried the workarounds if so you're probably screwed until the next patch comes out.)
EDIT: further research found me a post from a mod who said it was an issue with corrupted maps. Also every single post i've came across was fixed by redownloading the map.

Did you try doing it directly from the source? From what I read it can be an issue server side and client side. Try joining the map on another server too to test this.
