I thought that was one of those traps from the upcoming Saw movie.

Either that or a really cute video too.

So I posted that picture of my pup and my hamster the other day.

Well, the next day, my poor hamster (Dexter, named for the TV show serial killer) died. He was really old, but he was still so full of life.

I am sad. Like, I feel like I lost a family member or something. Shit fucking sucks. I don't want pets after the ones I have now are gone.

This made me kind of sad..
I had a hamster when I was about 5 and it died, or disappeared anyways.

I'll post pictures of my 3 dogs and fat-ass cat later tomorrow, maybe.

What you described are "noble" birds.

Rich people buy those just to make their home look ... err... exotic I guess. These people do not care about the birds themselves, and in this case the birds won't give a shit about their owner either.

A pet bird is very friendly once it actually recognizes you as its master.

Mine is free to go wherever he wants, he spends most of the day ontop his cage.

Noise depends on the kind of bird himself obviously and its environment.

Anyway whenever I arrive at home he insta-sings random stuff it's just hilarious. He recognizes the microwave and phone rings and will use a word in his "greetings" vocabulary "chart", depending on those rings.

Birds are 2-legged scripts, bscly.

He also likes to directly fly and land on my shoulder just for fun if I'm around the living room. Sometimes he goes as far as going down the stairs trying to find me.

He's fascinated by my headphones and will remind me so by repeatedly bobbing his head whenever I'm gaming with him on my shoulder.

And this little dude is only 15 cm high. Now imagine what you could do this these.

(Ignore the fifth picture, that's a horrible wound, and black-plamed cockatoos cost around 75,000$!)

A bird can interact and be appreciated as much as a dog/cat. That is all.

Never heard of an African Grey?
