My steam name is marioman571, and I play under the name of Major Mario. I was on one of the SourceOP servers a few months ago, the instaspawn 2fort one, and I decided to goof around and have a good time. I wanted to try out the teleporter in the spawn room glitch, so I made one and the enemy team Spies took the teleporter in. I admit I was griefing, but I was only goofing around. I was kicked soon after, and I forgot about the server for a month or so. After awhile, I longed for a 24/7 2fort server, and when I found this server again, I couldn't get on. A message poped up saying that I was Permanantly Banned because of the Spawn room griefing. I think this was a little too harsh, becuase I didn't recieve any warning. I am just asking if I could be able to play on the server again. I have learned my lesson, and I faced many trolls to know what an ass I have made of myself on that day. Of course, I have been on this server for a very small amount of time, so I doubt anyone will help someone who made a bad first impression. Please help me out, I would like to get back to playing. It was a bad first impression. Nobody owed you a warning. Nobody likes a griefer.

People who do this usually just go around tele-griefing and every time we have given out temp bans they came back and did the exact same thing soon after their ban expired.
Given your relatively short play time coupled with your offense it probably seems reasonable to think that this is the first time that this admin had noticed you, and that makes it plausable to make the first ban a permanent one.
Most administrators also consider this an exploit, albiet a minor one, but it is sourceOP's general policy to permanently ban people who exploit for the purpose of grieving or gaining personal stats.
I'm not saying that you have no chance of getting unbanned, but that is my jist of the situation.
EDIT: DF unbanned you while I was posting that.

The Server still says I'm banned, but I'll give it a day before I try to get on again.

Ya, the server won't notice the unban until the map reloads.
