Haha, i totally agree.
Your trading a couple hats for some metal next thing you know links are appearing and the annoying words "+Rep me thx ".
It's a bit like saying, Oh we traded a few weaposn but go onto my wall and say something great, so i can use this rep which means nothing to improve my popularity
I agree that +Rep should be left to higher tier trades or when cash is involved.

I feel your pain; however the worst people are as follows... I had a trade selling a item! After I sold it! He/She asks me to + rep them! I reply with why? I sold stuff to you, they then bring the -rep or report insults! I un-friend them and laugh

yea i've deleted all my rep.
i've come to the conclusion its the most pointless thing the community does. i've seen the worst scammers and sharks and just plain rude people with pages of rep, because when you think about it, it comes down to this, people buy rep with rep, so it has no meaning at all. since everyone with any common sense knows its worthless, the only other purpose it serves other than to waste everyones time is for scammers to have an additional tool to back their credibility when tricking noobs. people really have to stop this rep dance now. even in the least worst scenario where some inconsiderate person adds a dozen people and doesn't clean up after themselves after they get their one trade, they get a +rep from the one guy, and then the rest of the people he adds just get ignored until they remove themselves.... can't be bothered to even answer a hello, you look in their backpack and you figure it out yourself...i've seen that kind of stuff over and over
