OMG fuck the guy who started the trend of commenting in other people's trades on outpost as a link to their own trade WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING ELSE, JUST THE LINK
its 99% of the time vague description and just annoys me
that is all, whoever started that style of offering, fuck you.

Agreed, why can't they just type in a damn offer?

I have never come across one that was anything close the the worth of what I was selling. Even if it was they were offering 10 items for my 1 item. Why would I ever want that? I have also noticed that by the time I got to the dude's offer the trade was already closed. So, I don't even waste my time anymore clicking those.

tbh i never understood why people do it for a 1:1 trade, or if they link you to a trade that has 3 unusuals and you're supposed to guess which he's offering. The only time i see this as being valid is if the person is offering a set or something of that nature (although it would still be nice to say something).

Lawl, best part is they are wasting their time finding the link when it's faster just to type it out.

simple solution is to never click on them.
its good to get into the habit of never clicking volunteered links, sure you can always check the url, but why risk making a mistake. just type in wut and hit reply....they waste your time, you waste theirs.
traders do so many stupid things amazing.
i think the entire dance of "you rep me i'll rep you " is a far bigger problem, i'm sure if you total the time wasted by all the traders out there doing this pointless dance its mann years wasted on something with zero value. i've seen sharkers and scammers and just plain rude/psychotic traders with pages of rep. since everyone knows it has no value, the only value it has is for scammers to trick rubes to be frank.
also there are the guys who add you, assume you can read their mind.
hi! i'd like your wrench!
then you have to type "which one" several times as they give one word answers to narrow down which..
