I notice that, occasionally, I won't see any messages saying that I'm receiving points for kills/building/caps/etc. Is this a bug and am I still receiving my points even when it is not being displayed? I know that there is a punishment where an admin can disable point gaining for a disruptive player, however I've never been reprimanded for anything, I do not cheat, and I do not exploit anything.

I've seen this happen a few times and it will eventually start displaying my points received messages. However, tonight I noticed that I was on the verge of hitting 40,000 points, yet my points suddenly stopped appearing on the screen. I was somewhere around 30,950 and they stopped showing up, yet everytime I died I was still receiving the message for LOSING points. I went through about 15 kills before dying when I was noticing this, and when I saw my message for losing points, I noticed none of those 15 or so kills had been registered for points, but my deaths were counting as lost points.

Is this a bug or am I being punished for something? I have no clue what I would be punished for, I never harass anyone unless they're obviously being a jerk to people, I don't cheat, and I don't exploit the points system. Steam ID is STEAM_1:1:12050464 17:08 126 0 active

hlstatsx was kinda wonky today. but you shouldn't be losing any points for getting killed, insamuch as i know the killer only gains points

Hmm. Well, I know for a fact I am actively losing points for negative things such as dying or destroying engineer buildings (when I built them). But it kinda sucks to have my points not being registered when I earn them. It's bad enough that people with a lower score get 25 points for their luck kills on me...and that takes away from my points.

Will do. It's happened on and off for a long time. If it's just the server that records the stats going down, then I understand.

So can I too at just ONE PENNY PER POINT! I'm kidding, but if anyone really wanted to buy 100,000 points at a penny per point I'd be forced to consider it. It's hard to turn down $1000 for something so trivial and easy to arrange.
