Playing in Goldrush this evening Nobody completely abused his admin rights and kicked me from the server for absolutely no reason. We were attempting to votekick an individual that had been afk numerous times over the last few rounds and Nobody took offense to this based on his allegiance to his favored team members at the time, Piggy and elryanoo(who started the smack talk after a round had finished complaining about demo spam when thats all that he and Piggy are capable of as well). He took on this fraternity old boys club mentality and kicked me because I was one of the few putting up a solid fight towards the opposition and clearly abused his admin rights simply for the sake of trying to impress them.

When I contributed to SourceOp I didn't realize that in doing so I was supporting this jock douchebag mentality of kicking people so that you could keep one team stacked and rack up points playing against people that would pose no challenge. I also didn't realize I was contributing to dictator like control freak admins abusing their rights so that they can impress their friends.

Drunken Fool, please take a look over the transcript and tell me where I said or did anything that warranted being kicked from a server that I contribute to. Ask sdogg, Cakeisalie, Sunkistadora or anyone else that was playing with us, other than Nobody and his friends elryanoo and Piggy, and ask them if I ever stepped over the line in any shape form or fashion. This kind of admin abuse is ridiculous.

I agree that this was total abuse of power. I can understand if there was some sort of spamming of the votekick, but there was only a mention of the votekick and it just so happened that the individual being kicked was a girl. Hate to think that had anything to do with it. But she was back and forth and never completely in the game. AFK a lot. The votekick didn't even start when Nobody says in chat, "I'll just kick russell." And Nipsy was out.

Look I don't care about the smack talk, the spamming demos, it's goldrush. But the fact of the matter is, Nipsy did nothing against the rules. I understand that he isn't banned, but to be kicked off the server so Nobody and his buddies can have a laugh.....come on, is this internet high school?

It's a shame, we were all having fun. But Cake and I both decided to leave the server after that. No fun with a big headed admin around.

No permanent action was taken, no repeat slaying, nothing "Big Headed"

I don't throw admin powers around unless they are merited, or I think they are merited.

I appreciate the apology. But the statement was made in chat, "Well, I'll just kick Russell." I am not going to tell you how to do your job. I've been admin at forums and chat rooms and it's not an easy job. Someone is always mad. She had been afk off and on through out several rounds. Again thanks for the apology. Moving on now....
