Don't forget the pushy salesman trying to sell you something you don't want.
"How may I help you today?"
"Oh, yes. I'm looking to upgrade my sound card."
"Really? Well, we have some very nice Dell laptops over here. Allow me to show you..."

the best way to deal with them is to troll the shit out of them.
make up defects that you absolutely "heard online"
tell them how much you hate some random feature that is easily ignored (I told them that I would never buy a BOSE system because I hate their logo)
act really excited at a feature in the later products they show you and insist that you are offended that they didn't show you that one first
if they have gone through every product that they have, finally decide on one, then insist you hate the brand and go with the one you knew you wanted from the start. (especially if it is the first one they showed you)
make fun of their uniform
ask for random adapters that both don't exist and would be pointless (my favorite is the Serial ATA to Svideo adapter)

not 4.99, but not 50.00 either
so i guess you're right-ish
more like they should only be 20-30 dollars and instead they are 80-100 dollars.

I got my 2-way DVI+usb kvm online for 5$ on ebay
same thing was 50$ at best-buy
edit: correction, apparently the one I bought was 200$ at best-buy. Don't use door busters as examples for pricing.
