		Hate to see how much it would cost to get a small tear in that fabric replaced.

		Sure, I imagine it has a lot more strength than say, my t-shirt ... But I have a hard time imagining its not easy to get a tear in it.
My car has this massive scratch/dent on the trunk.  I have no idea how it got there or who did it, it wasn't my fault - but I imagine if it had this fancy covering over it, it would have torn.  Several layers of metal were removed in this scratch.  
Being special material, I imagine the material itself would cost a mini fortune to repair, if repair is even possible.

		its probably just a high elasticity fabric, instead of puncturing, it stretches, that way even if you in a head on collision, almost all the damage is absorbed by the frame, plus cloth has got to be cheaper then fiberglass to repair, and faster, just remove the damaged cloth and tack new cloth on
