I've suggested this once and have failed to come up with the original thread (mainly because I didn't look) but a map-vote isn't necessarily a bad thing. The only thing I would suggest is to implement a restriction where a map couldn't be played again until a set number of maps had gone by.

Heeeyyyy, no!
2fort is great, it has it's own theme and there isnt much pressure.
Seriously I always use the sewers, even as a sniper, the battlements and the bridge are a huge NO to me. These areas are the only downsides.
Beleive it or not, I liked ctf_well better with the cp design, now it's "meh" because you can't get to the other side underwater.
I'll always remember DF spawning massive contraptions in the intel room.

Thanks, I forgot to add that as an option. It's there now.

2fort is great, it has it's shit played out and is so overplayed that it feels like an MMO.

I don't suppose you socialize much with the players ingame, 2fort is a fun center with e-friends.

Wasn't 2fort originally a custom map (in tfc)... along with steel, turbine, and fastlane? The later three tf2... (duh)

he said they usually are. of course there are good, well balanced, visually appealing maps out there in the custom world. its just that you have to wade through 1000 shitty ones to find them. id rather let the developers decide which ones are good enough.

I am afraid that you two are missing out on the best maps in the game.
you can tell when a map is shitty because nobody is playing it, but seriously, what do you lose by trying out a new map every once in a while? If you take your time that seriously you should get a second job.
orange is the best.
