Is there a way to get new map overview images/config? Or are more going to be added into future updates?

You can make your own. The process is very similar to the spectator overviews (see here http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Level_Overviews). The text file contains the offset and zoom and the image should be 1024x1024.
