No, I'm one of the people that tried the beta releases and was sad at the amount of effort it took to disable the stupid Metro interface. Even Apple isn't forcing the iOS interface down consumers throats as fast or without as much lube.

yea macs aren't designed for people who wants to game, you will literally have a tough time trying to play games on mac.

Its design for simplicity and easy access which is why people likes to use them, because some people are not technology friendly (eg older people ) they tend to turn to macs. But other then that reason, i do not know why people buy macs, they are a shitty piece of scrap metal. Maybe national pride? because its made in US and they don't wanna use JAP or other international brand ? I really don't know...

Nearly every super-technical nerd I've known has made the switch (save for the hardware minded folks that need to overclock everything). No stupid driver issues, just usability. If you need a Unix command line, it's a Unix OS. If you need a windows VM you can run one, or two, or three. Need Linux? same thing, VM or dual boot.
I game natively in the OS as well as virtualized and dual-booted Windows. I use a mac because it's simple and powerful (and also for a stupid reason - in every sci-fi movie ever that depicts a futuristic utopia do you see people worried about what OS they're running when the plug in something, or try to run something, or share something? no, it's one unified platform, and the only company that's been pushing that for ages and ages is Apple. Sony doesn't count since they've just pushed hardware unity)
AND AMERICA FUCK YEAH. APPLE IS THE ONLY AMERICAN MANUFACTURER OF COMPUTERS. DELL AND LENOVO AND IBM AND HP DON'T EXIST
