it is good to be back in sourceop...ah, I did not miss the players wanting to know about the jetpack which I will try not to explain.

One thing, well actually a few things...

Has the damage limit been raised ? Cos a few times players have been really hard to kill, and it is annoying when I have been used the damage limit on other servers.

Like yesterday..there was this annoying player called "^_^" (no marks) who would take like 2 crossbows from close range and as he did not die had time to orb me.

Ok, this player liked orb spamming, and rpg spamming which is annoying..but the damage thing is appropriate.

So..if this point could be answered...and is there an idea to have more no rpg maps....like the spooky one for instance.

I do prefer servers where there is no rpg/spawn protection and rules about rpg spamming and camping.

Yes, like larz..but not as bad just yet I have been banned from a server where I complained about a player who turned out to be admin and then in their forum accused me of stating I was saying he was cheating..which I never and one admin gimped me..changed my screen name so even when I left the server my name was still their choice and I had to close steam to resolve issue...grrr.

Unfortunately, I still have certain views about playing.
And the big argument of skill vs easy kills just keeps going, big style.

As long as you keep being fair I will keep coming back...feel pleased or unhappy..I suppose

Fall dmg hasn't been touched. It's still on default. Crossbow dmg hasn't been touched either. So make sure you're actually aiming the right way. :roll: The Spooky map is a popular map on hl2dm and I'm not going to take it off just cause their is an rpg spawn on the map. If people spam with them, well then maybe the map was made for it and you should fire with them more. Not all maps are going to be designed around the SMG gun or the mp7.

as for what real was asking about
first of all i just stopped explaining the jet-pack, the last time i did explain it was to some kid who kept saying i was cheating, and even after i tried to explain it to him he just kept at it
second, in you have you shield up enough it will take three chest shots to kill whit crossbow
third, even i can't resits they thrill of an easy kill, it just gets under peoples skins, although i have seen some really skill g-gun users that keep me from all out orb spam, though i still like they orbs, they just arent as effective against the certain players as they used to be

meh easy kills are nice but they get old...
