I tried out chrome until I found out it was only faster because it runs a separate copy of chrome for every tab that you open up. I'm not choking down my system with 32 versions of chrome.exe because google thought they could use a loophole rather than actually optimize their code to run a smaller footprint.

although it does prefetch sites (which makes for all sorts of bad things) it DID pass Acid Test 1 & 2 and 79/100 on Acid Test 3. So, from that standpoint its doing better than most other browsers.

sorry to say, but my version of firefox scored 85/100, which means its still a massive piece of shit compared to firefox.
